Turkish Primer told the journalists at the international airport of Santiago city. Erdogan cut short his visit to Chile and left for Turkey after Israel’s attack on ships carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza. Erdogan said, "Everyone should know that we will not remain silent to this state terror."
According to Erdogan, the ships, which were carrying a humanitarian aid to Gaza, served for the humanitarian purposes: “The ships were inspected. The only passengers of the ships were civilians and the volunteers. The white flag was hangout”
Turkish PM rejected Israeli side’s claims concerning the weapons that allegedly were on the board of the ships: “Besides the Turkish citizens, there also were the volunteers from 32 countries and parliamentarians on the board. This action, totally contrary to the principles of international law, is inhumane state terrorism. Israeli government showed once again clearly that it did not want peace. Nobody should think we will keep quiet in the face of this inhumane state terrorism. It won’t bring a peace to the Israeli people”, - said Erdogan.
Turkish PM demanded from the Israeli side to free the ships and passengers, which were seized hostage by the Israeli militaries, as well as give full information about wounded and dead.

“Upon coming to Turkey we’ll discuss this incident in the parliament. We are going to unveil all details of this accident to the international community”, - said Mr. Erdogan

Erdogan also called on Turkish population not to use the force against local Jews: “The Jews citizens living in our country are our citizens. In spite of Israel’s treatment we have never discriminated our citizens due to their religion or race, and we won’t do it in the future”.
