Poland hosts 1st informal meeting of Eastern Partnership member countries` FMs

Baku-APA. A first informal meeting of foreign ministers of the Eastern Partnership Member Countries has been held in Sopot, Poland, APA reports quoting AzerTAc.
Foreign Ministers Radoslaw Sikorski of Poland and Miguel Angel Moratinos of Spain chaired the “27+6” format meeting.
European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Stefan Fule also attended the event.
Azerbaijan`s delegation was led by Deputy FM Mahmud Mammadguliyev.
The meeting participants were informed about the measures towards developing the Eastern Partnership Program.
They discussed ways of developing and enhancing the Program, and stressed the necessity of increasing a relevant financial package.
The event also exchanged views over simplifying visa regime, developing transport corridors and tackling emergency situations.
