PACE Committee condemns ban on hijab in European countries

Baku. Victoria Dementieva – APA. “The countries can not ban on hijabâ€, said PACE Committee on Culture, Science and Education in its draft resolution. The Committee approved the report “Islam, Isalmism and Islamophobia†prepared by Danish parliamentarian Mogens Jensen and called on Switzerland to withdraw ban on construction of minarets. The issues will be discussed at the PACE session on July 21-25 in Strasbourg.
