Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. French Total has announced causes of selling out its shares in Shah Deniz and exit, APA-Economics reports.
Eric Meyer, Total's planning development manager, said at the second day of meeting held as a part of the 2nd Azerbaijan and Caspian Sea Oil and Gas Week 2014 that French company has always paid attention to operation in Azerbaijan.
According to him, Total intends to pay attention to the oil production in this country too: “Now, we are spending all our efforts to the works in Absheron field. We also plan to work in new projects in this country”.
Regarding exit Shah Deniz, he said Total does not want to be a minority company in this project.
