SOCAR: Weâ€™ll continue constructive cooperation with EC for completion of the acquisition of share in DESFA

According to him, such cases are often met in control procedure of EC on company merging.

He noted that SOCAR highly appreciates time, efforts and resources spent and to be by EC in this process: “We’ll continue constructive cooperation with EC for completion of the process in a short-run”.

Abdullayev said that SOCAR has always done its best for approval of agreement and all these efforts have been welcomed by Greece and EC: “Therefore, we are sure that the competition directorate of the European Commission will satisfy with the results of the second-stage investigation. We hope that acquisition of shares in DESFA will be completed in time and all parties will be able to benefit from successful cooperation. As you know, TAP has signed an Agreement on Cooperation with DESFA and the project is developing in Greece well”.
