SOCAR, Snam sign MoU

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev and Chief Executive Officer of Snam S.p.A. Carlo Malacarne have today held a meeting in Baku.

SOCAR told APA-Economics that the sides discussed possibility of exchange of experience between SOCAR and Snam S.p.A. on construction and exploitation of plants for transportation of natural gas, extracted in Azerbaijan and other countries, to European markets through Italian infrastructures.

At the meeting, the sides also signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which envisages cooperation on assessment of initiatives for development of the Southern Gas Corridor.
