Baku. Aqshin Rafiqoglu – APA-Economics. Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev has met with Gennady Akhramovich, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Azerbaijan, the ministry told APA-Economics.
Built on the principles of mutual friendship and partnership, according to the sides, Azerbaijan-Belarus relations continue successfully in various fields.
It was said the necessary legal framework between the two countries has formed and there is ongoing work on a document on long-term cooperation. Sahin Mustafayev noted that despite an observed upward trend in the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Belarus, there is huge potential to achieve higher results in this area.
Akhramovich stressed that he will spare no efforts to expand relations between the two countries during his mission.
