Azerbaijan sees 3% decline in oil export via BTC

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. In January-August, Azerbaijan exported 22,166,644.22 tonnes of crude oil, down 2.73% from previous year, State Customs Committee told APA-Economics.

18,092,965.20 tonnes of crude oil were exported via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline in the reporting period, down 3% in annual comparison.

Supsa pipeline exported 2,809,023.00 tonnes (-0.5%), Novorossiysk pipeline exported 847,107.00 tonnes (+24.81%).

Crude oil transportation via railway transport was not carried out in August. In total, as of September 1, 2015, 417,543,020 tonnes of crude oil were transported, down 34.22% compared to a year earlier.
