Baku. Agshin Rafiqoglu – APA-Economics. In January-August, Azerbaijan’s main pipelines transported 31 mln tons of oil.
The State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics that 75.8% of the transportation was carried out via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil export pipelines and this pipeline transported 23.5 mln tons of oil.
During the reporting period, 4 mln tonnes of Turkmen oil brought to the country by ships were transported via the BTC pipeline from the Sangachal terminal.
Over the eight months of 2015, the country’s main pipelines transported 14 bln cubic meters of gas, down 2.7% in annual comparison. 30.5% (4.27 bln cubic meters) of the transported gas was realized via the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum—South Caucasus Pipeli
