Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. Italy does not take part in financing of TAP project yet, said the Director-General of Southern Gas Corridor Afgan Isayev at the second day of meeting held as a part of the 2nd Azerbaijan and Caspian Sea Oil and Gas Week 2014.
Answering the question on participation opportunities of the Italy in Southern Gas Corridor, Isayev said the shortest part of the project is in Italy.
According to him, there are a number of versions related to last stop: “However, exact place has not been defined yet. I think if Italy wants to finance the project, we are ready for it. TAP center is in Switzerland, TANAP in Turkey, Southern Gas Corridor and Shah Deniz are in Baku. They can apply”.
