State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources told APA-Economics that this will be carried out from new plants and by 2020, capacity of Small Power Plants is planned to be reached 512.5 MVt, Small Water Power Plants – 60 MVt.
So, the project will be implemented in three stages and the first stage of the project will cover 2014-2016 and cause increase of capacity of SEPs by 150 MVt, in 2017-2018 – by more 150 MVt. More 212.5 MVt Plants will be constructed at the third stage (2019-2020).
SWEPs’ capacity will be increased by 15 MVt at the first stage (2014-2016), more 20 MVt will be increased at the second stage (2017-2018) and more 25 MVt – at the the third stage (2019-2020).
Moreover, energy from biomass will be increased. So, new stations to be constructed in 2014-2016 will enable increase of such energy by 100 MVt, in 2017-18 – by 200 MVt and in 2019-2020 – by 215 MVt. Thus, new plants will enable increase of biomass energy by 515 MVt.
