Today at 04:06 Moscow time, as a result of a targeted terrorist attack carried out by unmanned boats in the waters of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) Marine Terminal, the CPC's VPU-2 remote bridge installation was seriously damaged, APA-Economics reports, citing the official information of the CPC.
According to the information, in accordance with the instruction given by the captain of the Novorossiysk seaport, loading and other operations were suspended, and tankers were taken out of the CPC water area. There were no injuries among the CPC employees and contractors.
"At the time of the explosion, the VPU's emergency protection systems ensured the shutdown of the relevant pipelines. According to preliminary information, there was no oil leakage into the Black Sea water area," the information states.
