Azerbaijan trims down crude oil export

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan exported $5 690 397 000 worth of 15 598 566.6 tons of crude oil during January-July, down 3.9 times in volume and 5.7 times in value from a year ago, said the State Customs Committee.

Of this, 1 478 605 tons of crude oil flowed via Baku-Novorossiysk Pipeline, 2 545 307.8 tons via Baku-Supsa, 20 019 232 tons via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Pipeline and 704 887.1 tons by rail.

Besides, $889 106 000 worth of 2 022 672.3 tons of petroleum products were exported abroad, up 29.3% in volume but down 45.9% in value from a year ago.
