BP says Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli daily output averages 806 000 barrels

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. During the first half of the year BP-Azerbaijan produced 806 000 barrels per day from the Chirag, Central Azeri, West Azeri, East Azeri and Deepwater Guneshli.

Of this, 111 700 barrels per day came from Chirag, 173 200 barrels from Central Azeri, 266 800 barrels from West Azeri, 142 800 barrels from East Azeri and 111 600 barrels from Deepwater Guneshli

The current total daily production is 806 100 barrels per day.

During 2008, BP-Azerbaijan produced a total of about 252 million barrels (about 34 million tonnes and around 688,500 barrels per day average) from the Chirag, Central Azeri, West Azeri, East Azeri platforms and Deepwater Guneshli.

Of this, 121 800 barrels per day came from Chirag, 196 000 barrels from Central Azeri, 209 300 barrels from West Azeri, 113 100 barrels from East Azeri and 48 300 barrels from Deepwater Guneshli, said the company.

ACG participating interests are: BP (operator – 34.1%), Chevron (10.2%), SOCAR (10%), INPEX (10%), StatoilHydro (8.6%), ExxonMobil (8%), TPAO (6.8%), Devon (5.6%), ITOCHU (3.9%), Hess (2.7%).
