SOCAR: Issue of Azeri gas sale to Turkey will soon be solved

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The volume and price of Azeri gas from Shah Deniz and Shah Deniz Phase II will soon be agreed with Turkey, said Rovnag Abdullayev, President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
“The parties are negotiating on this issue, as well as the transit of gas via Turkey. SOCAR is consulting with its partners,†he added.
After Shah Deniz Phase II comes online, Azerbaijan’s gas export rate is expected to reach 30-35 billion cubic meters.
