Natig Aliyev: â€œAzerbaijan is interested in the realization of Nabucco projectâ€

He congratulated the participants and said Baku is interested in the reliable transportation of its hydrocarbon resources to the world markets, APA correspondent reports from Ankara. He said Azerbaijan was supplying oil and gas in several directions now â€“ via Baku-Ceyhan, Baku-Erzrum, Baku-Supsa and other routes and selling its energy resources not only to Georgia and Turkey, but to Russia, Iran and Greece as well. The minister said Azerbaijan was interested in the extension of relations with other partners in the energy sector and establishing effective transportation corridor in the region. Aliyev said there was successful cooperation within the Greek-Italian gas pipeline project and Baku was interested in all attractive and effective routes, including the Nabucco gas pipeline. He said in any case such projects should be based on the principles of market economy, including transparency and consumerâ€™s consent.
