Upon the announcement of the official results of the parliamentary election, held in Azerbaijan on Nov.1, the Board of Directors of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) will take a decision on the members who put forward their candidacies without the management’s permission, Deputy Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan ruling party, MP Siyavush Novruzov told APA.
He said that some self-nominated candidates of YAP withdrew their candidacies for not competing with the candidates nominated under the party's decision.
After the Central Election Commission confirms the mandates of elected MPs and this issue is approved by the Constitutional Court, the YAP Board of Directors will hold a meeting on the results of the election and take a decision in this regard”, Novruzov said.
