Azerbaijani CEC to decide on parliamentary election’s exit-poll organizations until Oct.22

According to the Electoral Code, on the initiative of every Azerbaijani citizen having active suffrage, as well as on the basis of initiatives of registered candidates, political parties, bloc of political parties, NGOs involved in the election campaign, international (foreign) observers (being registered in the Central Election Commission visiting Azerbaijan on a relevant invitation in accordance with law) are due to submit their applications on observation of the elections in the whole territory of Azerbaijan from the date of the announcement of the election up to 10 days before the election (until October 22).

 

At the same time, on the initiative of every Azerbaijani citizen having active suffrage, as well as on the basis of initiatives of registered candidates, political parties, bloc of political parties, NGOs involved in the election campaign, those intending to get a special permit in order to observe the meetings of elections commissions till the election day are due to submit the relevant documents to the CEC from the date of the announcement of the election to 10 days before the election (until October 22).

 

Moreover, according to the rules of accreditation of organizations conducting exit-polls in the elections in Azerbaijan, the CEC is due to take a decision on the accreditation of exit-poll organizations at least 10 days before the election (until October 22).
