According to the statement, the delegation visited 54 polling stations during the voting and process of counting of votes.
The delegation came to a conclusion that the election process was held in accordance with the basic democratic standards and principles. According to the members of the delegation, several violations were observed. The voting process in the polling stations was well organized. The members of delegation from various political parties expressed hope that the election will pave the way for progress in the strengthening of democracy in Azerbaijan.
The delegation expressed their wishes for a wider cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan. “The Nov.1 parliamentary election was held freely and transparently taking,” said the statement.
