According to him, it is planned to discuss making amendments to the law “On political parties” and others.
“Thus, according to the world practice, a party is liquidated if it takes part in no political process two years after its establishment. We will take it into account while creating a new legal basis. Some of our parties doesn’t function and becomes an object of sale. Someone buys a political party registered in 90s in Azerbaijan and does something with it. Litigations emerged in some parties. One claims that the name and seal of the party belongs to him, another argues against him. We need to regulate it by law,” he added.
Saying that such problems currently exist in APFP and Musavat parties, Novruzov added that new amendments will solve these issues and end the arguments.
