“As you know, some time ago, the return of our residents to the second residential complex of the city of Aghdam was ensured. Currently, 103 families, 403 residents live there. However, work is also continuing in our other residential complexes, and there are new developments in this direction. Thus, construction work has already begun on the fifth residential complex," said Fidan Mammadli, an employee of the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in the Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavand districts, in a statement to APA’s Karabakh bureau.
She also provided detailed information about the ongoing construction work:
“This complex consists of 12 blocks in total. Altogether, 50 buildings have been designed within these blocks. Of these, 40 are planned as residential buildings and 10 as non-residential buildings. The total number of apartments is 1,074, comprising one-, two-, three-, and four-room units. Additionally, construction work on the third residential complex is planned to begin in the near future. The third residential complex will consist of 13 blocks.
Let me also draw your attention to another development: construction of auxiliary buildings for the restored Aghdam Juma Mosque in the city of Aghdam, being carried out by the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in the Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavand districts, as well as the construction of a multifunctional administrative building in the city of Aghdam, will also begin in the near future.”
