Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with Filip Juda, President of the World Minifootball Federation (WMF), on May 21, APA reports.
The meeting focused on the World Minifootball Championship, which is being held in Baku from May 21 to June 1.
Highlighting Azerbaijan’s successful track record in hosting major international sports events, Prime Minister Asadov expressed confidence that the championship would be conducted to the highest standards.
The Prime Minister emphasized that sports development remains a key priority in Azerbaijan’s state policy and underscored the government’s strong support for athletes.
The discussion also highlighted ongoing efforts to develop and popularize minifootball in the country, with both sides exploring further cooperation in this field.
