Azerbaijani Parliament to discuss 2026 budget package in second reading on December 2–3

The agenda of the sessions of the Azerbaijani Parliament to be held on December 2 and 3 has been announced, and the budget envelope will be discussed in the second reading, APA reports.

The following issues are included in the agenda of the sessions:

1. Draft law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026” (second reading).

2. Draft law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On the budget of the State Social Protection Fund for 2026” (second reading).

3. Draft law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On the budget of the Unemployment Insurance Fund for 2026” (second reading).

4. Draft law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On the subsistence minimum in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026” (second reading).

5. Draft law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On the threshold of the need criterion in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026” (second reading).

6. In the Tax Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, “On the status of a member of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, “On social insurance”, “On state compulsory personal insurance of military personnel”, “On state compulsory personal insurance of employees of judicial and law enforcement bodies”, “On medical insurance”, “On state duty”, “On state care for persons suffering from diabetes mellitus”, “On state compulsory personal insurance of employees of diplomatic service bodies serving in diplomatic missions and consulates of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, “On state care for persons suffering from hereditary blood diseases such as hemophilia and thalassemia”, “On insurance activity”, “On compulsory insurance against loss of professional working capacity as a result of accidents in production and occupational diseases”, “On state care for persons suffering from multiple sclerosis”, “On compulsory medical examination of children”, “On customs tariff”, “On non-cash settlements” and “On the rights of persons with disabilities” in the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan Draft law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on amendments (second reading).
