The memory of the victims of the Khojaly genocide was honored at the Milli Majlis, APA reports.
During today’s parliamentary session, Speaker of Parliament Sahiba Gafarova stated that Armenians committed acts of genocide against Azerbaijanis during the First Karabakh War.
Sahiba Gafarova noted that thanks to the historic victory achieved by the Azerbaijani Army under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, ethnic cleansing against the Azerbaijani people has been brought to an end, and the victims of the Khojaly genocide have been avenged on the battlefield.
The Speaker proposed that the memory of the victims of the Khojaly genocide be honored with a minute of silence.
The parliament then observed a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the Khojaly genocide.
