Azerbaijan has extended tax concessions for media organisations for a further three years, the measure is included in amendments to the Tax Code signed by President Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.
A three-year tax holiday for media entities had been due to expire on 1 January 2026. That period has now been extended for another three years.
Under the decision, from today income earned by eligible media organisations – excluding audiovisual broadcasters – will remain exempt from taxation. The exemption covers revenue from their activities, including advertising income, as well as financial support provided by the authorised state body.
