Ali Karimli: â€œReview of â€œAzadligâ€ blockâ€™s decision to boycott the presidential elections is out of the questionâ€

Baku. Elnur Mammadli-APA. â€œThoughts about the changing of â€œAzadligâ€ blockâ€™s decision to boycott the elections are groundless. Review of the blockâ€™s decision is out of the questionâ€, said Ali Karimli, member of the Chairmen Council of â€œAzadligâ€ block and Chairman of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (AXCP), APA reports. He said Chairmen Council issued statement on the boycotting of the elections and the blockâ€™s Majlis would make official decision in early July. Karimli said they could join the elections only if their demands would be accepted. â€œIt is possible theoretically. If the composition of the election commissions will be changed, freedom of assembly will be restored, parties will be provided with equal opportunities and pluralism on TV, it is possible to talk about the joining the elections. Why we wonâ€™t go to the elections, if our demands are met? However it is impossible to meet all these demands until the electionsâ€. Karimli said it was desirable that all opposition parties boycott the elections.
