Kazakhstan’s ombudsman: “We take into consideration friendship of our countries while convicting Azerbaijanisâ€

Baku. Tamara Grigorieva–APA. Several Azerbaijanis arrested in the coastal area of Kazakhstan are in jail in this country, Askar Shakirov, Kazakhstan’s ombudsman told APA. He said they were detained when they entered illegally to the territorial water of Kazakhstan and their fate will be defined within a law. Askar Shakirov said his staff regularly kept contact with the Azerbaijani prisons and they didn’t make any special complaint. The ombudsman said they took into consideration the friendship between the two countries while convicting Azerbaijanis.
