He said that the notion of political prisoner did not exist at all and there were no political prisoners in any country.
â€œEveryone, whose rights are violated during preliminary investigation and trial, can appeal to the European Court of Human Rights after appealing to all court instances. The issue of political prisoner is a delicate one for Azerbaijan. Some international organizations attempt to use it as a subject of trade. I would recommend the international organizations not to use this issue as a pressure on Azerbaijan. Two prisoners, who are in the list of political prisoners, have been sentenced for cooperating with intelligence bodies of Iran. It is surprising that their names have been included into the listâ€, he said.
