Azerbaijani parliamentarian: â€œKhojali residents will appeal the European Courtâ€

More than 2000 Khojali residents were invited and bore testimony to the General Prosecutorâ€™s Office, Ministry of National Security and Interior Ministry over the past two years, former Khojali Executive Authority and Member of the Azerbaijani Parliament Elman Mammadov told APA. Mammadov said he also bore testimony. â€œKhojali residents told the investigators that leaderships of Armenia and separatist organization committed the genocide. Names of Armeniaâ€™s former president Robert Kocharian, current president Serk Sarkisian, former leader of the separatist regime Arkadiy Gukasian, commander of 6th battalion of 366th Regiment of Russian Armed Forces and Armeniaâ€™s defense minister Seyran Ohanian were specially emphasized in the testimonies. Most of the Khojali residents captured and taken hostages faced with tortures and insults by the above-mentioned persons. After the collecting of all materials, we will appeal the European Court on Human Rightsâ€.
