Presentation of book on â€œNotable women in the history of national statehood of Azerbaijanâ€ held

MPs Malahat Hasanova and Sharaf Jalili are the authors of the book. Ramiz Mehdiyev, member of ANAS and Head of the Presidentâ€™s Office has written preface. Scientific adviser of the publication is Ali Hasanov and reviewer is Yagub Mahmudov. The book deals with notable women played a great role in the history, fortune and formation of the national values of Azerbaijan. Materials on activities of Tomris, Nushabe, Aleyka Konuldash, Sara Khatun, Tutu Bika, Parikhan khanim, Bayim khanim, Khurshud Banu Natevan, Zarifa Aliyeva and Mehriban Aliyeva have been reflected in the book. Materials have been presented in Azerbaijani and English.
Addressing the event, Ali Hasanov, Head of Socio-Political Department of Presidentâ€™s Office highly estimated preparation of the book. Hasanov evaluated preparation of the book on women played great roles in the history of Azerbaijan as new and original idea. State official added that Azerbaijani women are known on international level and took measures on the development of Azerbaijan. Malahat Hasanova, one of the authors of the book stated that the book dealt with notable women approaching to humankind with love, dignity and encourage whose names have been written in the history of statehood with gold letters.
