NATO week will kick off in Baku

Baku-APA. Azerbaijan will host the next â€œNATO Weekâ€ in Baku from 16 to 27 July 2008 .
In this framework, a series of special events, aimed raising public awareness of NATO policies and structures and reaching out to the civil society, will be organized with the support of NATO Public Diplomacy Division and the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan.
The NATO Week will include major events, the next session of NISA (NATO International School in Azerbaijan), on the topic of the Management of Crises.
The event will involve exports from Azerbaijanâ€™s Foreign Ministry, Emergencies Ministry, NATO, OSCE, UN, EU, Switzerland, the United States, Turkey, Latvia and Afghanistan.
NATO Assistant Secretary General for the Public Diplomacy Division, Jean-Francois Bureau will visit Azerbaijan to join a conference on the â€œAzerbaijanâ€™s Euro-Atlantic integration and democratic electionsâ€.
