Baku. Elnur Mammadli –APA. Baku City Executive Power negatively reacted to Musavat Party’s appeal to hold picket on June 17 in its letter sent to the party on Friday, Arif Hajili, head of the Musavat’s central office told APA. It was said in the letter that Musavat Party refused to hold its meetings on May 4 and 18 in the suggested Bibiheybat stadium. Resting on this, Baku authorities considered picket, which protests the violation of Law on Freedom of Assembly, inexpedient. Hajili said BCEA respond is contradictory to law and picketing side should determine its expedience. He said their move was illegal and they will picket before BCEA building.
The party scheduled picket in protest against Baku City Executive Power because it didn’t allow them to hold party’s meetings on May 4 and 18 in the places they chose.
