BAXCP and â€œPopular Frontâ€ newspaper are ejected from the building they locate

The State Property Management Committee refused to prolong rental contract with the party and the newspaperâ€™s office, BAXCP sources told APA. The State Committee informed BAXCP that the building was under the Melioration and Water Handling Facilities Committee, which appealed it requesting not to prolong the rental contract with the party and the newspaper because of repair works in the building. Referring to this appeal, the State Property Management Committee didnâ€™t reach a new contract with the party and the newspaper and urged them to vacate the building.
The Partyâ€™s sources said they were allowed to leave the building in a month after the official appeal and the State Committee had not offered them a new building yet.
The old rental contract expires on June 19, 2008. The Partyâ€™s office locates in the building of Azerbaijan Hydro-technique and Melioration Instituteâ€™s Scientific Production Association under the melioration and Water Handling Facilities Committee.
