Ogtay Asadov addresses summit of BSEC parliament speakers

Ogtay Asadov said that bilateral and multilateral relations among the organization member states strengthened in political, economic, cultural and other spheres. He also noted that alongside with achievements, the Black Sea region had problems.
â€œNagorno Karabakh, which we have been involved, not only impedes the development of our country, but also poses serious threat to the peace and stability in the region and the whole world. Azerbaijan is committed to the way of solving the conflict basing on international legal norms and principles, as well as principle of territorial integrity and territorial inviolability,â€ he said.
Declaration on the 15th anniversary of BSEC Parliamentary Assembly was also adopted in the summit. Following the event, the speakers met with president of Greece Karolos Papoulias.
Ogtay Asadov also met with chairman of Moldovan parliament Marian Lupu and deputy chairman of Russian parliament Valery Yazev.
