“Azadlig†block to formalize its decision on boycotting elections

Baku. Elnur Mammadli–APA. Council of “Azadlig†block will hold its next meeting later in May where it will formalize its decision on boycotting the upcoming presidential elections, Hasan Karimov, Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (AXCP) told APA. He said there was no need to expect for the Parliament’s approval of the annexes and amendments to the Electoral Code. “The Government takes univocal position and has no intention to make serious changes in the law. Therefore, I think it makes no odds to expect for the changes in the lawâ€.
