One more building of district electoral commission opened in Baku

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“APA. The new building of 31st II Surakahani district electoral commission was opened in Baku on Tuesday. APA reports, officials of the Central Election Commission (CEC) and district executive power, as well as voters have attended the opening ceremony. The building has been constructed with financial support of district executive power and State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic, said the chairman of district electoral commission.
Mazahir Panahov, CEC Chairman said more than 100 district electoral commissions from 125 had own buildings in the country. â€œThis process was not carried out and election commissions were not provided with such conditions in any European countryâ€. Head of Surakhani District Executive Power Ilgar Abbasov and member of the Parliament elected in this district Ahmad Valiyev addressed the meeting. Then red ribbon was cut and participants of the ceremony looked at the building.
There are 27 polling stations and more than 36 thousand voters in the 31st II Surakhani District Electoral Commission.
