Monument of Mammad Amin Rasulzadeh to be inaugurated in Asri cemetery in Ankara

â€œWe have carried out project by financial support of Turkish Monuments Society. Mehmwet Kengerli has chaired the Monuments Society for a long time. Rasulzadeh, author of phenomenon â€œFreedom for humans, independence for nationsâ€ was one of the immortal men of Turkic World. Azerbaijani Cultural Center which established by him during migration commemorates him every time,â€ he said. Kirhan spoke about the monument and stated that there are 4 columns in the monument.
â€œWe have reflected numbers of Rasulzadehâ€™s life in this monument. Meanings of monuments and mausoleums are very important. Motives of Turkish rugs have been reflected on the columns. Height of columns is 2.85 meter and it means total of historical number 28 and fifth month. Rope on the columns is a symbol of eight -octangle star and three-colored flag of Azerbaijan. First measure of place where the grave is situated is an age of Rasulzadeh when he declared Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. The height of grave is 34 centimeter. Height of sides of grave is an age of Rasulzadeh when he died and it is 71 centimeter. Marble and facet are used for establishment of the monument. I have prepared a model of the monument for a long time. Azerbaijani Cultural Center has protected the grave of Rasuzadeh since 1995. We have reconstructed the grave two times and we wanted to establish mausoleum of Rasulzadeh.I believe that we have achieved our success this time,â€ he said.
Turkish politicians, Azerbaijani ambassador to turkey, several Azerbaiaji guests have been invited to inauguration of the monument on May 28. The conference on Rasulzadeh and independence of Azerbaijan will be held after the event.
