Baku. Elnur Mammadli-APA. Irrespective of the amendments to the Electoral Code, Azerbaijan Democratic Party (ADP) will participate in the presidential elections in autumn. Chairman of ADP Sardar Jalaloglu told APA that it was impossible to hold democratic elections with the amendments to the Electoral Code.
“Despite this, we will participate in the elections, assess the situation and take relevant measures. Anyway, boycotting the elections is rule out. The party’s supreme board has decision on participation in the elections and we can not violate this decision. If there is other position, the supreme board should hold a meeting,†he said.
