34 Azerbaijani servicemen have joined the peacekeeping mission in Kosovo’s Dragash Region within the Turkish battalion since 1999. Azerbaijani peacekeepers are controlling 18 residential areas in the region. Azerbaijani Parliament passed decision on March 4 to withdraw Azerbaijani peacekeepers after the Kosovo’s unilateral declaration of independence.
