The preparation for the summit was discussed at the meeting of CIS Foreign Ministers’ Council in Moscow. The ministers discussed over 20 issues, most of them were related to social-humanitarian sphere.
Draft document on celebrating the 65th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War was confirmed at the meeting. The document envisages holding events reflecting the role of CIS peoples in this victory and improving social provision of veterans as from 2009.
