Azerbaijan’s Permanent Mission to UN Geneva Office told APA, the document has been adopted unanimously. The resolution urged the sides of conflicts to provide comprehensive cooperation with the International Red Cross Committee (IRCC) for identifying of missing people’s fates. Addressing the session, Azerbaijani Permanent Representative in the UN Geneva Office Elchin Amirbeyov called on the international community to put more emphasis on this problem.
The draft resolution will be taken to open discussions in September and High Commissioner will prepare a brief report on the results of these discussions.
