Russian President Vladimir Putin’s proposal on joint use of Gabala radar station with the US may reduce confrontation, former deputy of Bulgarian Defense Minister, military expert George Marshal Movement chief Velizar Shalamanov said, APA Eastern Europe bureau reports. He said that it should be determined whether the cooperation will consist of joint missile defense system or joint defense from some risks.
“It does not mean that the US will not establish missile defense systems and NATO should not care for missile defense of member states,†he said.
