Parliament asks government to approve Draft Budget

Amendments to the bill about State Dues were discussed in the sitting. Genire Pashayeva said that it is important to reduce the fees for national passports and issue the passports in short time. Gudret Hasanguliyev also proposed to soften the passports issuance procedure. Penah Huseyn proposed to abolish the fees for national passports. Fuad Muradov asked for reduction of registration fees for domain names. The Deputy Finance Minister Azer Bayramov said that the validity interval of national passports will be raised to 10 years. The new passports will include information about the citizen.
Some amendments to the bills and acts of legislation about culture and migration were discussed in the sitting. A bill about Expenditures estimate of 2007 was discussed in the sitting. Ogtay Asadov said that today, the discussions are over and the government should work on the issues in 10 days. After ten days the 2007 Draft State Budget and related bills will be submitted to the cabinet for approval. /APA/
