State Committee: More than 200 Azerbaijani citizens appealed for evacuation from Ukraine

State Committee on Affairs with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan keeps close contact with Diaspora organizations and Diaspora activists in connection with the situation around Ukraine, Committee told APA.

More than 200 Azerbaijani citizens have appealed to the Operative Headquarters, established in Rada of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine, for evacuation. There are Azerbaijani students, studying in Ukraine, among them.

It is planned to bring the applicants to Azerbaijan through the countries bordering Ukraine. The State Committee on Affairs with Diaspora is working in coordination with the relevant government agencies of the Republic of Azerbaijan to evacuate our compatriots from Ukraine.

In case of any problems, our compatriots living in Ukraine, especially in the tense regions, can contact the operational headquarters of the Rada of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine by phone +380 97 070 0085 and e-mail raukyiv@gmail.com.

In order to provide all kinds of moral and information support to our compatriots, the operational headquarters operates 24 hours a day.
