A series of actions have been held in New York to commemorate Azerbaijani journalists killed in a mine explosion, organized by Erjan Yerdalanli, a member of the board of the Coordinating Council of American Azerbaijanis and head of the Azerbaijan New York Association, State Committee for Work with Diaspora told APA.
The purpose of exhibitions organized in front of UN Headquarters, administrative buildings of NBS Studios and the Associated Press is to draw attention to the death of Azerbaijani journalists Maharram Ibrahimov, Siraj Abishov, as well as local officer as a result of the mine explosion in Kalbajar, Armenia’s continuation of military crimes and refusal to provide mine maps.
