Azerbaijanis in Australia address to security bodies of the country

Azerbaijanis, living in Australia, has addressed to security bodies of the country, State Committee on Work with Diaspora told APA.

Armenian lobby's financing terrorist forces in the occupied Azerbaijani territories have been noted in the letter, addressed to the security bodies of Australia with the signature of President of Azerbaijan-Australia Association (AAA) Mikayil Oyta.

It was noted in the letter that "Homenetmen Ararat" and "Hamazkaine Education and Culture Society" collect funds in order to support terrorism. "They claim in their posts shared on their Facebook pages that they have collected $ 119.000 under the motto “Let’s help our banagh (army)”. It is stated that the funds are collected for Nagorno Garabagh being Azerbaijan’s legal territory".

It is stated that the war is going on in Nagorno Garabagh between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the Syrian fighters and members of PKK terrorist organization together with the Armenian mercenaries participate in this war against Azerbaijan.

The author of the letter brought to the notice that the funds collected by the Armenian lobby are intended just for supporting of the foreign terrorists involved in the war by Armenia keeping the Azerbaijani territories under occupation until now in contradiction to 4 resolutions of the UN: "These collected funds are not intended for charity purposes, it will be spent on supporting of illegal military units committing acts of aggression and terrorism against the Azerbaijani civilian population".

Our compatriots called on the security agencies to check these facts and to prevent the financing of terrorist groups from remote and peaceful Australia.
