Events on 17th anniversary of Khojaly Genocide held in Switzerland and Saudi Arabia within the framework of campaign â€œJustice for Khojalyâ€

Baku. Viktoria Dementieva â€“ APA. Events on the 17th anniversary of Khojaly Genocide were held in Switzerland and Saudi Arabia within the framework of campaign â€œJustice for Khojalyâ€. The campaign â€œJustice for Khojalyâ€ declared on the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, Coordinator on Intercultural Dialogue of OIC Youth Forum and www.justiceforkhojaly.org website were presented in Politforum owned by federal government of Switzerland. Representatives of Swiss government, parliamentarians, NGOs, diplomatic missions accredited in Bern and media representatives participated in the presentation ceremony. Book â€œwar against Azerbaijan â€“ Targeting Cultural Heritageâ€ prepared by Heydar Aliyev Foundation was presented and the photos released by the Foundation abroad were exhibited in the event. Film about Khojaly was also demonstrated during the event. The statement supporting the campaign â€œJustice for Khojalyâ€ was signed at the end of the event.
On February 25, the international campaign â€œJustice for Khojalyâ€ and www.justiceforkhojaly.org website were presented in Riad Palace in Saudi Arabia. Representatives of the countryâ€™s socio-political circles, international organizations and Organization of Islamic Conference, representations and embassies accredited in Al Riad and media participated in the event. Photo exhibition on Khojaly tragedy was organized and film was demonstrated during the event.
Events within the framework of the campaign â€œJustice for Khojalyâ€ were held in Great Britain and US yesterday.
