Commemorative events on January 20 are held in Dubai and Switzerland

Baku-APA. Azerbaijani Community in Dubai held commemorative event on the 19th anniversary of January 20, Press Service of State Committee on Diaspora told APA.
Samir Imanov, Chairman of the Community provided capacious information to attendees about January 20. Imanov added that after developments, Heydar Aliyev took stance on developments in Azerbaijani representation in Moscow and proposed to give legal and political assessment to the tragedy. The exhibition covering photos on the Black January was demonstrated in the event. The videos were demonstrated and the victims of the Black January were commemorated. Information sheets in various languages, the book â€œArmenian terrorismâ€ and â€œRealities of Nagorno Karabakhâ€ made by Heydar Aliyev Foundation were delivered to the attendees related to January 20.
Switzerland hosted commemorative event on the 19th anniversary of January 20. Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations presented information booklets and photos in English on January 20 to Swiss Parliament, Foreign Ministry and representations of international organizations ion Switzerland. Nadir Hollanbrand, Chairman of Community for Azerbaijan told that activists of Diaspora met with several Swiss MPs. The meeting covered detailed information about the tragedy committed by Soviet army in Baku over the night from January 19th to 20th.
