Azerbaijani MPs meet governor of Kvemo Kartli province

Georgia. Nizami Mammadzadeh-APA. A group of Azerbaijani MPs have met teachers, residents of Gochulu, Arkhli, Kapanakchi villages of Bolnisi region, where Azerbaijanis live densely, APA local bureau reports.
The meeting covered modern condition of schools, substitution of ancient names of villages with Georgian ones.
Azerbaijani MPs familiarizing with problems of the residents met David Kirkitadze, governor of Kvemo Kartli province. MP Gultakin Hajibayli told APAâ€™s correspondent that the meeting envisaged education problems, appointment of persons to the post of director in Azerbaijani schools, who do not know Azerbaijani language, unjust realization of land reform in areas, where our compatriots live in and other issues of important character.
She noted that Georgian side acknowledged remarks.
The meeting also covers construction of 20 schools in Bolnisi.
Imran Eyvazov, Assistant Governor of Kvemo Kartli province told APA that problems of Azerbaijanis would be solved in a short time.
Azerbaijani MPs â€“ Gultakin Hajibayli, Musa Guliev, Lala Abbasova, Nasib Nasibli visited Georgia to get acquainted with problems of Azerbaijanis living in the country.
