Photos of destroyed cultural heritage and monuments in occupied Azerbaijani territories are exhibited in Ottawa

Ottawa. Ulviyya Aliyeva –APA. Azerbaijani community has organized a photo exhibition titled as “Destroyed cultural heritage and monuments in the occupied Azerbaijani territories” in the Ottawa University, Canada. The exhibition will be open until April 6. Photos showing previous and following images of the monuments destroyed during the Armenian occupation. Azerbaijani Embassy in Canada told APA, the member of Azerbaijani community Yashar Mugan said in his opening speech that 738 monuments, 28 museums and 14 memorials have been destroyed by the Armenians. He said organizers of the exhibition aimed to bring attention of the international community to the facts of vandalism. Leaders of the Canadian non-governmental organizations and religious communities, as well as Azerbaijani and Turkish students attended the opening of photo exhibition.
